Matthew French

Associate Attorney

Matthew has always had a passion for helping people. That is why he began his career as a high school history teacher with the Hot Springs School District in 2009. After nearly ten years of teaching, Matthew sought a different challenge for his life. He attended law school at night while still teaching full time and graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in 2018.

With Collins, Collins & Ray, P.A., Matthew devotes his time to fighting for justice for his clients in criminal defense and personal injury cases. Matthew understands the stress of undertaking a lawsuit or being charged with a crime. No one should have to face the legal system alone and he is prepared to fight for you from the beginning of the case through trial and, if necessary, appeal.

Matthew has experience defending criminal cases throughout Arkansas, especially those accused of driving while intoxicated (DWI). Matthew has successfully tried many DWI cases and has proven himself to be a fierce fighter for justice. Matthew has experience handling cases from the district court level up through the court of appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Matthew’s passion for his clients shines through in all aspects of his representation and is ready to fight for you.
